Intelligence & monitoring

Effective international engagement depends on knowing what is happening, understanding who is influencing decisions and recognising opportunities before they become obvious. We provide political, institutional and policy intelligence that enables clients to anticipate developments, assess risks and act at the right time.

We monitor political and regulatory developments, international negotiations, legislative processes, institutional positions and changes in the priorities of governments and other influential stakeholders. We assess how developments may affect clients' interests and identify emerging opportunities for engagement, potential obstacles and changes in the political environment.

Our work can include stakeholder mapping, political and institutional analysis, monitoring of international frameworks and negotiations, early-warning assessments and targeted briefings for ministers, senior officials and organisational leaders. We also help clients understand the positions and interests of potential supporters, opponents and decision-makers, providing a clearer basis for prioritising engagement.

Intelligence is closely connected to execution. We use our monitoring to identify when a meeting should take place, when an argument needs to be advanced, where political support may be available and when a developing issue requires a coordinated response.

Our objective is to ensure that clients are better informed, better prepared and able to act before political and policy developments become fixed.
