Advocacy & lobbying

Effective advocacy requires more than access to decision-makers. It requires a clear understanding of the political environment, the interests of different stakeholders and the arguments most likely to influence an outcome. We help governments, political actors and organisations make their case effectively, translating national or organisational priorities into focused advocacy strategies.

We engage directly with governments, political institutions, parliamentarians, international organisations, regulators, business groups and other influential stakeholders. Our work can involve building support for a particular policy position, influencing negotiations, addressing regulatory or political concerns, defending national interests or creating momentum for a change in the status of a relationship.

We develop stakeholder maps, identify potential supporters and interlocutors, prepare political and policy messaging, arrange meetings and manage sustained programmes of engagement. Where appropriate, we combine institutional lobbying with public communications, coalition-building and high-level political outreach.

Our advocacy extends across complex international issues, including trade and investment, sanctions, FATF and tax matters, migration, visa arrangements, security and defence, development cooperation and international partnerships. We provide both the political representation and practical execution required to ensure that clients are heard by the people who matter.
